Indiana Landmarks and Historic Urban Neighborhoods of Indianapolis (HUNI) have teamed up to host the HUNI + Indiana Landmarks Mayoral Forum on Neighborhoods, featuring three major candidates running for Indianapolis mayor in 2019: Democratic incumbent Joe Hogsett, Republican Indiana Senator Jim Merritt, and Libertarian Douglas McNaughton.
The forum will include a 15-minute statement from each candidate plus an hour of Q&A from audience members. The event will focus on issues important to those who live and work in historic neighborhoods, including infrastructure, schools, safety, transportation, focused redevelopment, property taxes, and more.
